Dr Mark has over 30 years global experience in extensive legal, commercial & executive leadership, with over 17years with Shell Group. He is an international leader in strategy, capital and complex projects, governmental effectiveness and transformation, Legal and commercial negotiations, disputes, systematization and procedurization.

As an academic he teaches across leading universities & institutes, supervises doctoral candidates, developed masters level courses at the University of Aberdeen focused on new approaches to extractives and minerals for good and development; Local Content; as well as complex contracts and projects, international disputes resolution, arbitration and procurement.

Mark is co-founder of the Oil & Minerals for Good Global Forum, GCEO, Aberdeen Strategies Solutions & Systems with subsidiaries in Europe and Nigeria, serving governments and leading corporations and Convener of SONG Success of Nations & Governments in Africa & in Diaspora focused on providing strategic volunteer support to support development across Africa.
