Course Description: This is an interactive course which will examine contracting strategies within the construction industry with particular focus on EPC and EPCM strategies.

This course aims to consider the contracting strategies in the construction industry with particular attention to benefit of applying the right strategy to achieve the set objectives of a project.

Learning Objectives

The main objectives of the training include the following:

1. Understanding Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) and Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management (EPCM) Contracting Strategies.
2. The Prons and Cons of either Contracting Strategies or the inherent impact on outcomes/deliverables.

Understanding the certain factors in adopting some risk management strategies and the allocation of liabilities between the project Owner and Contractors.
